TERMS & CONDITIONS
All plant and equipment is hired/sold in
accordance with the Hire Association of Europe standard terms and
conditions of hire/sale, a copy of which is

PRICING/CHARGING POLICY
All prices are exclusive of
delivery/collection and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate.
All equipment is
charged on a weekly basis, with some having a minimum of 1 week hire.
These items are clearly stipulated within the pricing section of each
individual item. However, all other items are available at a reduced rate
for 1, 2, 3 days or weekend hires, with over 3 days being classed and
charged as 1 week.
The following examples are given to explain
the pricing policy in simple detail.

Example 1: Weekly Rate £20.00
1 Day Hire: 1⁄2Weekly Rate =
£10.00
2 Day Hire: 1st Day (1⁄2Weekly Rate) + 2nd Day (1⁄5th
Weekly Rate) = £14.00
3 Day Hire: 1st Day (1⁄2Weekly Rate) + 2nd & 3rd Day (1⁄5th
Weekly Rate) = £18.00
Thereafter: Weekly Rate applies with additional days added in 1⁄5ths
of Weekly Rate.
Weekend Hires: ie. Friday PM to Monday AM are treated as above 2
Day Hire.

Example 2: Weekly Rate Min. Wk £20.00
1,2,3 Day or Weekend Hire Rate reductions
are not available on items stipulated Minimum Week.

Example 3: Weekly Rate £50.00
1 Week 1 Day Hire: Weekly Rate
(£50.00) + 1⁄5th Weekly Rate (£10.00) = £60.00
1 Week 2 Day Hire: Weekly Rate (£50.00) +2⁄5th Weekly Rate
(£20.00) = £70.00
3 Weeks 2 Day Hire: 3 x Weekly Rate (£150.00) + 2⁄5th Weekly
Rate (£20.00) = £170.00
Construct-Equip Ltd. charges are all on a 5
Day Working Week Basis. ie. Monday to Friday.
Fuel issued in fuel tanks of equipment are
charged on initial hire invoice, with credit being issued if tank is
returned full upon completion of hire.
Fuel rates are charged as follows:
Petrol(Unleaded) £1.50 Per Litre
2 Stroke Mix £1.75 Per Litre
Gas/Oil Red Diesel £0.55 Per Litre
All products offered are
subject to availability and in some cases an alternative of similar
quality and performance may be supplied. Whilst every effort is taken to
ensure the accuracy in product specification and performance, we recommend
that essential information is further checked when placing an order as no
liability can be accepted.
Construct-Equip Ltd. reserves the right to
alter hire rates and all other information without prior notice.

CONSUMABLES/REFORGING/SHARPENING
Consumables and reforging or resharpening
are all charged as an extra to the hire upon termination.

DIAMOND BLADES/CORE BITS
Diamond blades and core bits are purchased
outright or charged per mm wear (minimum 1mm charge).

DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT
Hirers should ensure that they are at the
delivery address. Wasted journeys are chargeable. Long ladders, scaffold
towers etc - hirers are required to provide assistance for loading and
unloading.

TERMINATION OF HIRE
Equipment remains on hire until it is
returned and the company’s official “Termination Note” is issued.
This note is the only recognised form for receiving equipment off hire.

CLEANING/REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT
A charge will be made for equipment
returned in a damaged or unclean condition.
